Arrested Capitol Protesters Face Felony Charges
Six men and two women from southeastern Michigan have been charged with felonies stemming from protests at the Capitol last week Thursday.
Officials said the group charged state police troopers while attempting to enter the Senate chamber.
The eight charged face up to two years in prison. The charges are for resisting, obstructing and/or opposing a police officer.
They will be arraigned on December 19.
