Injured DeWitt Police Officer Home from Hospital

The DeWitt Township Police officer that was injured in an accident last week has been released from the hospital.

The chief tells us Officer Robert Stump has been discharged and is home recovering. Officer Stump crashed into a utility pole on Herbison Road while responding to a call for back-up last Monday morning.

The 31-year-old has been on the force for nearly four and a half years.
