Road Closure for Hotel Demolition Friday
Drivers will want to avoid a section of downtown Jackson Friday.
Francis Street between Michigan Avenue and Louis Glick Highway will be closed from 10am to 4pm for demolition work at the old Riverwalk Hotel on East Michigan Avenue.
The hotel went into tax foreclosure back in 2008 and is currently owned by the county. Once demolition is done in the spring, the lot will be sold.
