Woman Charged with Stabbing Boyfriend
The woman accused of stabbing her live-in boyfriend has been arraigned.
52-year-old Laura Stevens of Lansing was charged with one count of assault with intent to murder late Tuesday afternoon.
Police tell us she stabbed her 56-year-old boyfriend several times early Tuesday morning at their apartment on Beech Street. Neighbors say they heard the two arguing before police arrived just after 2am.
Stevens is being held on a $150,000 cash/surety bond. She's due back in court next week.
The man is expected to recover from his injuries.
