Gas Prices Surge Before Holiday Weekend
Just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday, gas prices around mid-Michigan are jumping.
Our crews are seeing gas for $3.65 in the Lansing area.
Earlier Tuesday, GasBuddy reported on its Facebook page that gas prices are expected to spike after wholesale gasoline prices went up on Monday. Oil prices also rose Monday, as did the stock market.
As of noon Tuesday, GasBuddy was reporting prices had spiked to $3.65 in parts of Michigan and $3.59 in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and Wisconsin.
