Jackson County Sheriff's Office Hiring
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is hanging the 'Help Wanted' sign.
The department is looking to hire two deputies. Duties included road and traffic patrols, preventing crime and/or disturbance of the peace, arresting violators of State and local laws and respond to situations or calls that need police assistance. Applicants will be required to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applicants must also be certified as a police officer in the state of Michigan.
Ideal candidates would also have good communications skills and must successfully complete a written exam, oral interview, background investigation, physical examination and drug screen.
