The official holiday was Sunday, but mid-Michigan continued to honor the men and women who have served our country.
Lansing Community College held a special ceremony for military heroes Monday afternoon. Five local veterans were inducted into the college's interactive Veteran Memorial, which was unveiled a couple years ago.
The inductees included men who served in World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War.
