Preparations are underway for the opening of the Broad Art Museum this weekend.

That's why the Greater Lansing Convention and Vistors Bureau's new Visitors Center opened Thursday morning on Grand River.

New museum visitors can go there and find all kinds of things to do while in mid-Michigan.

From the Wharton Center to Old Town and downtown Lansing, the Visitors Center will help provide information on all that the area has to offer.

The Broad Art Museum is expected to attract between 125,000 and 150,000 visitors each year, and pump nearly six-million dollars into the local economy.
