Consumers Energy Sending Local Employees to East Coast
Consumers Energy is sending another two dozen employees to the East Coast.
The natural gas crews will join more than 300 other utility workers and contractors already helping out.
They'll be replacing damaged gas regulators and re-lighting individual gas services. This is the first time Consumers Energy has sent natural gas crews out-of-state in its 125-year history.
