Millions of dollars are expected to be spent in big election years, and that wasn't any different for the six proposals on the Michigan ballot this year.

$105 million was spent on the campaigns through October 26, but in the end, Michigan voters didn't want anything on the ballot to change or amend the constitution.

Proposal 1, the closest of the six proposal races, ended in a no vote - repealing a controversial emergency manager law.
