Guilty Plea in Capitol Vandalism
Jail time could be in the future for a 20-year-old Lansing man who pleaded guilty to vandalizing the State Capitol Building in downtown Lansing back in September.
Jeffery Scott Handley pleaded guilty last week to one count of destruction of a memorial or tomb. He now faces up to three months in prison.
According to reports, Handley had been charged with two counts of malicious destruction of property, but charges were dropped in exchange for the plea deal.
He'll be sentenced on December 3rd.
