Update: Possible I-96 Shootings Driver Released

A driver suspected to be the I-96 shooter has been released by police. The man was stopped at around 9:20AM and was released shortly after 10:00AM.

Police have stopped vehicles matching the description of the I-96 shooter's vehicle along the I-96 corridor.

 


 

According to MLive, dispatch reports indicate that police have reportedly stopped a vehicle possibly driven by the I-96 shooter, near Grand Rapids.

The vehicle was driving on M-6; the driver exited at Kalamazoo Avenue SE.

Police officers are on the scene, but officials could not confirm if the suspect is in custody. There was a $102,000 reward for information about the I-96 shooter, responsible for over 20 incidents along the I-96 corridor over the last couple weeks.
