Shop Local Lansing is holding a Cash Mob Wednesday, November 7th. Not sure what a Cash Mob is? A cash mob is where a group of people who assemble at a local business and all buy items from that business. The purpose of these mobs is to support both the local businesses and the overall community.

We will be holding a Cash Mob Wednesday, November 7th at Alicia’s Authentic Mexican Deli, located at 5025 North Grand River, Lansing MI 48906. All we ask is to bring $10-$20 and be ready to support our local business.

We just have 3 rules:
1. Spend $10 to $20
2. Meet three people you didn’t know before
3. HAVE FUN!!!

Supporting local businesses helps support our local economy and local jobs market. With Cash Mobs, we hope to introduce Lansing residents to locally-owned businesses that they may not know existed. Shop Local Lansing is a local business advocate that helps local business owners and local residents reconnect to help our community to continue to grow.

Residents can find other locally-owned businesses at www.shoplocallansing.com. Once there, you can search businesses, print coupons, local jobs board and check out the event calendar. Come join us Wednesday, November 7th at Alicia Authentic Mexican Deli.
