Charlotte police department tell Fox 47 News that two cars were involved in a car accident Saturday morning around eleven on Lansing street under the I-69 overpass.
There was one person in each vehicle involved, both are Eaton County residents.
One victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and the other driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers identities are not being released until police can contact their families.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
