I-96 Shootings Update: Task Force Releases Pictures of Potential Witness
Late Friday afternoon the special law enforcement task force investigating a series of shootings along I-96 and nearby roads released two pictures of a person they are calling a potential witness in the case. The pictures are surveillance pictures taken at the Mobil Gas Station in Brighton on October 27, 2012. It depicts a white male with close-cut hair.
Oct. 27th was last Saturday, the day that two additional shooting incidents were reported, including one where a driver was wounded.
A third photo of black car, believed to be a 2008 - 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, was also included in the release to the media.
24 shooting incidents have been reported between October 16 and October 27th in Ingham, Livingston, Oakland and Shiawassee counties.
A reward of $102,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Information can discreetly be provided by calling 1-800-SPEAK UP (1-800-773-2587) or 248-624-6114.
