Update: Sheriff's Office Identifies Body Found in Holt
The Ingham County Sheriff's Office has identified the man whose body was found in Holt last night at Samuel Decker, 18, of Leslie.
He was found on Calypso Road at 7:43 p.m.; a witness said Decker was found lying next to a car.
CPR was given to the man and he was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Sheriff's Office is treating this as a suspicious death because he was young, and so it is being investigated as a homicide.
However, that is protocol used when a body is found, and police are not searching for a suspect.
They expect to have more details in a couple of weeks when an autopsy is completed.
