Man Firing Gun in Street Chased and Arrested
LANSING - Police officers arrest a man who was firing a gun outside of Preuss Pets at the intersection of Cedar Street and Grand River Avenue in Lansing.
Shortly before 2 o'clock Friday afternoon police received reports that a man on the street outside the pet store was firing a gun into the air.
When officers arrived, the man ran away, east down Grand River Avenue. Police quickly caught up to him near Grand River Avenue and Ballard Street and made the arrest.
Witnesses tell police the man they caught was the man who was firing the gun. Police say no one was hurt. No word yet on who the man is or why he was firing a gun.
