2nd Jackson County Bank Robbery Suspect Captured
The second suspect in a Jackson County bank robbery has been arrested. Police tell Hannah Saunders that Darius Griffin, suspected in the October 8th armed robbery of the Aeroquip credit union in Blackman Township, was arrested shortly after noon Tuesday. They tell us that Griffin was captured by Michigan State Police troopers at a friend's home in Benton Harbor.
This news comes as the first suspect in that Aeroquip credit union robbery, Roger Ozier, was in a Jackson County Courtroom for a preliminary hearing. At that hearing it was determined there was enough evidence to send the case to circuit court for trial.
Hannah Saunders was in the courtroom for this hearing and spoke to local police about the arrest of Darius Griffin.
