A lansing man riding his motorcycle was killed in a crash in Clinton County Sunday.

71-year-old Donald Torrance was riding on Grand River Highwaw when he was hit at the Francis Road intersection.

Witnesses say a car pulled out in front of him.

The 16-year-old driver from DeWitt was not hurt.


 

A 71-year-old Lansing man has died after a two-vehicle accident in Watertown Township in Clinton County.

Michigan State Police say the man was riding a motorcycle east on Grand River Highway Sunday afternoon when an oncoming car made a left turn in front of him.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead. He was wearing a helmet.

The other driver, a 16-year-old man from DeWitt, was treated and released.

State Police are still investigating the accident, and have not yet released the victim's identity.
