There were tears of joy Tuesday, at the Capital Area Humane Society.
Tatiana, the severly abused dog found nearly dead in a ditch a few winters ago, is now at McKenzie's Animal Sanctuary in Lake Odessa.
There, she'll get the love and care her special needs require.
The good samaritian who rescued Tatiana from that ditch was there to say goodbye. The shelter is grateful to everyone who showed compassion for Tatiana during her stay there.
