Fatal Accident in Jackson County
HENRIETTA TWP, JACKSON CO. - A woman is killed in an overnight car accident Tuesday in northwest Jackson County.
29-year-old Jamie Lyn Hicks from Munith died when the car she was driving went off Dunn Road near Coon Hill Road in Henrietta Township. The accident happened shortly after midnight.
The car flipped in the crash, and Hicks was thrown from the vehicle. Troopers from the Michigan State Police, Jackson County Sheriff's Office and firemen from the Henrietta Fire Department as well as paramedics from Jackson Community Ambulance assisted at the scene.
