Shooting Leads To Car Chase In Jackson County
A shooting leaves one man dead and another in police custody.
A man was shot to death in Norvell Township in Jackson County around 5 o'clock Saturday night.
When police arrived at the scene, the shooter fled in his vehicle.
Michigan State police and Jackson County police chased the suspect, and laid down 'stop sticks' to deflate his tires and stop his truck.
The male suspect is in custody.
Police have not yet released the names of the victim, nor the alleged shooter and neither men are from the Jackson County area.
