Gunman Demands Sneakers & Cell Phone
A man pointing a loaded shotgun threatens people at a home in Clinton County-- demanding a pair of sneakers. The Clinton County Sheriff's office reports that the incident happened at about 12:23PM Wednesday at a home on Bunker Hill Drive in Watertown Township.
The residents told deputies the man approached them with the shotgun, while they were standing in the driveway. He demanded a pair of sneakers and a cell phone. He then fled in a vehicle eastbound on Grand River Highway. A deputy soon spotted the car, made the stop and arrest. The 19-year-old Lansing man was found with the loaded shotgun and the stolen items.
The suspect is being held in the Clinton County Jail and is expected to face a judge Thursday.
