Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in an accident Thursday evening at the intersection of Waverly and Delta River Drive.
52-year-old Jose Martinez of Lansing was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating the accident.
One person is dead after a motorcycle/SUV collision Thursday night at the Waverly and Delta River Drive intersection.
Police say the motorcycle was going south and a Chevy Equinox in the opposite direction when the two hit.
The intersection was closed for about two hours. No one in the Equinox was hurt. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
