"An embarrassment to the department." That's what the police chief of DeWitt Township is saying after one of his sergeants crashed into a garage after he had been drinking.
Jason Jones will get a ticket for careless driving, which includes fines and three points on his license.
He could also be suspended without pay and temporarily lose his sergeant rank.
Jones told police he had a few beers, but was under the legal limit when given a Breathalyzer.
