2 Killed in Auto Accident in Hillsdale Co, Alcohol a Factor
ADAMS TWP, HILLSDALE CO. - Two men are dead as a result of an accident in Hillsdale County.
The single-car crash happened around midnight Wednesday in Adams Township on Bacon Road near Tripp Road, east of Hillsdale.
Calvin Christopher Russell, 21, and Christopher Scott Root, 43, both of Hillsdale, were killed in the crash.
The 44-year-old driver of the car was flown to University of Michigan Medical Center in serious condition.
State police investigators say alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
