Off-Duty Officer Faces Ticket Following DeWitt Twp. Crash
Sgt. Jason Jones will be issued a reckless driving ticket for this weekend's crash into a home in DeWitt Township. Jones admitted he had been drinking prior to getting behind the wheel.
Jones took a breath test and was under the OWI limit. He blew a .07, just a hundreth below the legal limit of .08.
The damage to the home is around $2,500-5,000.
