Susan Bloomstine, 49, of Wyoming, Michigan died overnight due to injuries sustained in the crash. The other victims in the crash were 80-year-old Charles Wright, also of Wyoming, and 54-year-old George Tissen of Fowlerville.
According to the latest report, Sheriff Bob Bezotte says "witnesses indicated that Tissen, who was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger eastbound on Interstate 96, went into the median, traveled about 300 yards in the opposite direction and crossed to the westbound lanes where his vehicle collided with a 2007 Ford Taurus in the center lane, just west of M-59.
Based on witnesses, Tissen couldn't be seen in the driver's seat, possibly indicating that he had a medical event and was lying down.
