Police Investigating Moped Thefts
East Lansing police are investigating a string of moped thefts.
At least 22 have been stolen in the city since the beginning of July.
Police are increasing the number of uniformed and plain-clothes patrols in problem areas. They're also recommending owners buy wheel locks to make them tougher to steal.
