A truck driver from Canada could face charges from Monday's accident that left a Charlotte man dead.

The Eaton County Sheriff's Office says 53-year-old George Comrie died when the semi slammed into his vehicle on I-69 in Windsor Township.

Traffic was a standstill at the time, because of another accident involving a pop-up camper that rolled over in the median.

Four other people were taken to the hospital and all are expected to be okay-- including a man who was pulled from a burning car by Deputy Jody Mann.

The highway was shut down in both directions for nearly 8 hours.
