Jordyn Wieber was hoping to add to her medal count following a Team Gold and a missed opportunity at the individual all-around final with her floor exercise.
Aly Raisman, the team captain and gymnast who edged out Wieber for the all-around final, was also vying for a medal in the floor exercise.
But how did they do?
Aly Raisman won the gold in the floor exercise with a score of 15.600, four-tenths of a point ahead of silver medal winner Catalina Ponor of Romania.
Aliya Mustafina finished third to win the bronze with a 14.900.
Jordyn Wieber finished 7th of eight gymnasts competing with a score of 14.500.
