FDA Approves Swallowable Digital Pill
Doctors now have the ability to check on their patients away from the office.
The Food and Drug Administration has approved a digital pill that can be swallowed. It's the size of grain of sand, and can monitor whether patients are taking their medication appropriately.
The sensor give doctors feedback on patients' heart rates and activity levels.
