New information: a Jackson County man is coming forward to say he thinks he knows who was behind a hit and run accident earlier this week: his 21-year-old son.

It happened on Hague Avenue in Vandercook Lake, around ten p.m. Monday. The Jackson County Sheriff's office says the father called them after noticing damage to the passenger side of his red Pontiac.

The victim is expected to be okay. It'll be up to the prosecutor to file charges.
