Couple Terrorized During Home Invasion

"This is brazen thuggery. They went there to rob somebody and terrorize them, and they did exactly that," said Ingham County Sheriff Gene Wriggelsworth.
He's talking about what happened to 52-year old Rocky Antekeier and his girlfriend. Three gunmen broke into their Delhi Township home around 4:30 a.m. Monday morning. That's where they tied them up, threatened them at gunpoint, shot off a warning bullet into the wall, and then stabbed Antekeier in the shoulder.
The three didn't stay long, and when they made their escape, they left a trail of evidence in the yard with items they were trying to steal, including a marijuana plant.
Antekeier runs Rocky's Roadhouse and the Helping Hands marijuana dispensary in South Lansing. That's where Sheriff Wriggelsworth believes the three suspects met Antekeier, who were probably his customers.
Investigators say it appears Antekeier was not breaking any laws with what he was growing as a caregiver. However, the Sheriff says keeping the plants at home wasn't a good decision: "In this case, it just came back to bite them."
Now he's lost jewelry, hundreds of dollars, and several expensive marijuana trees he may never get back, even with Wriggelsworth saying they are tight on the suspects' trail: "Whether we get them today or not, I don't know, but we know who they are, and eventually I think they will be apprehended."
Though he's confident with the leads he has so far, he will still be releasing sketches of the suspects in the next couple days.
