A big congratulations to students at Ingham Academy. Seven students graduated from the Second Chance school after overcoming some troubles.

Former MSU basketball star Mateen Cleaves was on hand, to encourage the students to stick with their dreams -- something the prinical believes is possible with this graduating class.

"It's the first big step in the next line of accomplishments for them," said Denise Lycos. "We have many students planning to go to Lansing Community College, and many who have part time jobs. But they also plan to go on to school. So I think its the beginning of the next step of dreams that they're going to be able to achieve."

Ingham Academy opened in 2007 and partners with Highfields and the court to turn struggling students around.
