First Place Tigers Take On the Indians
Following a home stand that saw five straight wins and a move into first place in the AL Central, the Detroit Tigers hit the road for Cleveland.
Pitcher Doug Fister opens the three-game series for the Tigers tonight on Fox Sports Detroit, starting at 7:05PM.
Fister allowed just two hits in his outing against the Los Angeles Angels, and struck out 10 batters for a season high.
At home, the Tigers swept the Chicago White Sox to take first place. The White Sox are currently one game behind Detroit, and the Cleveland Indians are four games behind at an even .500.
