One of the biggest blood drives in the country won't be happening this year. Michigan International Speedway is canceling the "Spirit of America" blood drive that is annually held on September 11th.
The track says union leaders cannot guarantee there won't be any labor disruptions with Red Cross workers during the annual drive.
MIS said it will find other ways to honor victims and first responders.
