Don't fall for an automated call from a wireless number claiming to be from Consumers Energy - it's probably a scam. The company says customers are getting calls asking for their credit card information. Consumers says it is a scam, as they would never ask for that information over the phone.
Another scam claiming President Obama will help pay your bills showed up a couple months ago. Consumers believes more than two thousand of their customers fell for it.
