With Video: Westwood Mall Evacuated After Gas Leak
An underground explosion at westwood mall in Jackson. It led to a couple of power outages in the area and flames shooting six to ten feet in the air out of manhole covers.

Crews are working to fix a gas leak at the Westwood Mall in Jackson. It was reported just after six p.m. on Thursday. The mall has been evacuated, and the Jackson County Sheriff's Office tells us small explosions were reported at JC Penny. There are no reports of any injuries so far.
