MDOT Announces Lane Closures for Weekend
According to MDOT, lane closures along I-96 in Ingham County are set for this weekend, and expected to create traffic back-ups.
One eastbound and westbound lane each on I-96 are expected to be closed this weekend, between M-52 and Okemos Road.
In preparation for the construction work, lane closures will begin at 9:00 p.m. Friday evening, July 20, and end in the early hours of Monday, July 23.
This segment between exit 117 and 122 is expected to cause long back-ups. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes.
