Two men are in the Ingham county jail, accused of harboring a 15-year-old Lansing runaway.
Marissa Bolles was reported missing by her family on July 12. The investigation into her disappearance included the sheriff's department, the Michigan State Police and the FBI.
That night, the Ingham county sheriff's department received a call demanding a $5,000 ransom for Bolles' return.
The call was traced to a Lansing trailer. There, it was discovered that Bolles had run away and was staying with a group of people she had just met.
Among them were 23-year-old Eraclio John Martinez, Jr. and 22-year-old Tony Twelvegage Ruiz. Both have been charged with harboring a runaway. Martinez was also charged with the misuse of a telephone.
Bolles is charged with extortion and misuse of a telephone for cooperating in the ransom hoax. She is being held by juvenile authorities.
