Organizers of the Common Ground Music Festival say they are getting a big thanks from the crowds for staggering the start times of the groups.

"That has proven to be a really good decision," said Malinda Barr, spokeswoman for Common Ground. "Our guests are loving being able to see opening sets for up to six bands each night."

Another popular change: having music start at 5:30 when the doors open. In past years, bands wouldn't take the stage until seven o'clock.
