A fire at Metalist International could have been a whole lot worse. The Lansing Fire Department evacuated the building and closed part of Pennsylvania Avenue Saturday afternoon when flames came out of a pressurized tank. The tank was right next to a dozen tanks of oxygen. The burning tank was safely removed from the building and no one was hurt.
