A send off party is happening later tonight for a local Olympian.
Jordyn Wieber, who qualified for the U.S. National Gymnastic Team at the Olympic Trials in San Jose on July 1st will get a hometown sendoff before she heads to London for the Olympic Games.
It will be at the Lexington Lansing hotel in Delta Township, and run from five to seven p.m.
You already missed your chance to pre-register, but you can get a ticket at the door for 35 dollars. The tickets are first come first serve, and there are less than 100 left.
There will be a silent auction right off the top, and special guest speakers throughout the night.
