Common Ground to Rock Adado Riverfront Park
In just a few hours, the music will be pumping at Adado Riverfront Park in Lansing. That's because Common Ground is here.
Thousands will be rocking out at this venue to a variety of musical acts, and with those thousands comes a big boost for the local economy.
"We estimate that over 4 million dollars a year in economic impact is driven in the local economy through this one-week event," says Scott Keith, co-executive director. "We know that it provides 150 to 200 jobs just for one week -- that's pretty amazing. It also adds to the year-round jobs just by the festival being here in one week."
Organizers are staggering the performances to make it easier to watch multiple concerts.
However, they're not specifying exactly when the shows are.
The doors open at 5:30 tonight.
