The suspect in Thursday's armed robbery at the Summit Township City-County Credit Union has been caught.

They believe the 23-year-old man from Summit Township is the man who flashed a black hand gun to a teller around 9:30 a.m. and walked out with cash.

City Police confronted him Thursday evening, and he surrendered without resistance.

Detectives were assisted in identifying the suspect with leads they received on Facebook.

The man is waiting for his arraignment at the County Jail.
 


 

This is a picture of the guy who robbed the City-County Credit Union in Jackson County's Summit Township Thursday morning.

Workers say he came in to the Francis Street branch, pulled out a gun, demanded money, and got away in a car parked near the building.

He's described as a white man in his 20s, about five-foot-eight, with a slender build.
