Rock the World Race Features Guinness Record Attempt
What better way to beat that heat than enjoying a giant Slip 'N Slide?
More than a thousand people felt that way, and could go down in the history books after this weekend.
The Slip 'N Slide was set up at Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge Saturday evening as part of the Rock the World Race.
The goal was to break the Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled on a Slip 'N Slide in one hour.
We spoke to organizers, who tell us they think they broke the record, but will have to wait on Guinness for the official word.
