Michigan's Apple Crop Down 90%
Some 900 Michigan apple growers and their families may have a rough year ahead.
According to the Michigan Apple Committee, this year's crop is down 90-percent because of the crazy spring weather. It's a total loss of nearly 20-million bushels of apples.
Rick Snyder signed a bill this week that would give low-interest loans to the affected farmers.
The apple industry contributes up to 900-million dollars to the state's economy.
