Firework Complaints Growing
Firework complaints are nothing new for this time of the year, but officials say the noise and amount of the complaints is up.
A new state law, passed this year, allows stores to sell larger fireworks then in previous years and increases the range of fireworks you can purchase without a permit.
The Ingham County Sheriff's office has had more than forty noise complaints from fireworks in the past two days alone.
While there is always a large number of complaints around this time of year, the amount of fireworks bought and the noise from them have sky rocketed.
