Construction on St. Anne Lofts Delayed Due to Collapse
Construction on the East Lansing apartment building that had a floor collapse won't start again until the city is convinced it is safe.
An overloaded space the size of a living room crashed from the fourth floor to the bottom of St. Anne Lofts Monday. No one was injured.
The city wants an engineer's report on the five story project to see if there is any further structural damage, which could push the August opening back awhile.
